Internal finishes

Normally internal finishes are usually chosen by the client. The most commonly used
timber products would include Oak, Mahogany, Red Deal, Teak & Cherry which
come solid or veneered. Built-in Kitchen, Utility & Wardrobes can be built to
specifications & design.

Plumbing / Electrical

Once you have chosen the design, layout, and fittings being used for your Electrical / Heating design you can be assured the subcontractors we use have the quality and experience in delivering quality work.

Site work

After installation of the septic tank, sewer pipes, etc. we also carry out services such as the installation of Aco drains, kerbing, brick paving, tarmac, entrance walls/piers, boundary walls, decking.

Windows & doors

We use a number of window and door suppliers. Standard windows being casement, tilt & turn, sash. These can be made using uPVC, aluminum, timber & alu-clad.
There is also a choice of single, double or triple glazing. Doors can be made to order also in the same materials.

Plastering

There are various types of external plaster finishes. These would include nap plaster, float finish, dry dash, wet dash. Internal plaster consists of one coat of sand / cement plaster and two coats of skim plaster. To improve insulation of a building it may be specified to use insulated slabs to a building. This is then plastered using skimcoat of tape and jointing.

Substructure

The substructure is also an important element of any building. The finished concrete ground floor slab is part of the substructure. Type and size of floor insulation is installed as per engineer’s instructions. All sewer pipes, radon barrier, heating pipes etc are installed prior to the floor slab being poured

Foundations

Foundations are the most important structural element of any building and expert care needs to be taken to make sure they are constructed properly. A site investigation will help to determine what type of foundation should be used for each building. An independent engineer must be engaged at this stage.

Superstructure

Included in the Superstructure is the block work from ground floor to roof. Installation of specified cavity insulation, window lintels & cills. Installation of first floor witch can be either concrete or timber. Natural stone, brick, timber cladding, cut limestone just to name a few can be used on the external façade.

Roofs

There are various types of roofs witch are used in construction. These are your standard A type, Hip roof, truss roof, flat roof, dormer etc. there are several roofing products to protect your building from the elements. The most common used are slates, tiles cladding, lead, and copper. Rain water collectors can be in aluminum, PVC, metal.
